 Quick Bio:
Likes: beggin, eating, barking at other dogs, taking walks, being mean to her sister, swimming in the lake (but don't give her a bath for goodness sakes!), her mama, howling with sirens

Pet-Peeves: her doggy sister; people ringing the doorbell, not being able to get on the bed (her back legs aren't strong enough anymore), BATHS!

Favorite Toy: tennis ball(which she promptly rips the fuzz off of), balloons(tries to grab the knot and bounces it everywhere trying) rope toy

Favorite Food: chicken - but really anything that's edible - even grapes, carrots, watermelon

Favorite Walk: in the neighborhood so she can sniff every other dog's markings

Arrival Story: I went to the pound in summer of 92 and she was there as 12 week old puppy. She was the only puppy I touched. She hugged me and I took her home. She was very sick and the vet thought she had parvo, but she pulled through and has been a healthy horse every since!
She's old and weary now - 13 years old!

Bio: She has hip displacia and as she ages, she can't do some of things she would normally do-- the most important being jumping onto the bed. She also ran into a glass door (gramma forgot to tell her when she installed it) and she injured her front shoulder. This also still bothers her every now and then. She's a pushy broad -- that's why we named her Murphy, after Murphy Brown. Kind of dates her, eh? She is extremely jealous of her doggy sister, Lucky, and is always showing her that she's the boss! She's been a good girl to accept her in our house after being in an only doggy house for 10 years!

Well I'm getting old. My arthritis is acting up and my knees and hips are bothering me. It's a bitch to go up and down the steps in the house and even to get up! If mommy throws me a cookie and it lands out of my reach, I have to decide whether its worth it or not to move to get it... The other dogs are catching my treats and this is pissing me off!
But, mommy lets me go outside to pee and do my stuff. There are only 3 steps to go down to get to the front yard. I still want to go down and get my meals, but then I have to come back up! Maybe mommy will start bringing my food upstairs so I don't have to trudge up those steps! If I don't want to come up them, I lay at the bottom of them and bark hysterically. But don't bother to help me, because I won't let you!
I also can't lick my butt anymore. So my mom comes at me with these wipies and I hate them. So my butt gets a little dirty every now and then- so what!!

All I want in this life is a cookie. And another one. and another one. Another. another. another. keep them coming!!! I'll bark at you everytime I want one, ok? I'll also look at you, then quickly at the cookie jar, back at you, the cookie jar, you, the jar, you, the jar, until you give me that cookie!
I want my mommy to make me some of her special cookies. I saw her make them and they are very delicious. She uses brown rice flour, whole wheat, oatmeal, peanut butter, egg and flax seed. They are very crunchy and good for me. Sometimes she substitutes peanut butter for honey or molasses.
My mommy also makes me and my brother and sister doggy stew. This is also delicious. Since she's been making it, if we are out of it, I just don't feel like eating that dried crap anymore. She makes it with brown rice, chicken thighs, veggies (like green beans, peas, squash, cauliflower, celery, tomatoes, carrots). My coat is shiny and nice. And my brother never farts anymore. He used to have such stinky farts.
I'm obsessed with food, can you tell?
