Arrival Story:
I saw his picture on Petfinder.com and applied to adopt him. He was only eight months old and had just been rescued from a high kill shelter in West Virginia.I was approved but he was adopted that weekend. I was offered other dogs but there was just something about him, that I felt a connection and I didn't feel that with any of the others that were up for adoption. I forgot about him and three months later the rescue organization e-mailed me and asked if I would still be interested in Gibson since he was being returned in a week. Seems one of the children in his new home was allergic. I said "absolutely". I drove over an hour to meet him and brought my two other dogs to meet him also. It was a perfect match all the way around. He came home with us that day in December, 2004 and has been a wonderful addition to our family ever since.
