Guessing Skittles DNA

So looking at Skittles personality and pictures of her from 3 days old to now...almost 7 years old and looking at pictures of her canine mom & dad here's what I've come up with: I think Dad is half Tibetan Terrier and half Havanese. I think Mom is half Shih Tzu and half Lhasa Apso. And that is what ...I think.... made my little girl soooo adorably cute!! :)

DNA

Mom & Dad are sending in my DNA test to see if I am "really" a purebred Shih Tzu because I look more and more like a Lhasa Apso as I get older! Even people at the dog parks actually have the nerve to correct my Mom when She tells them I'm a Shih Tzu they say: "Um that's a Lhasa Apso". So Mom's done !Mom is sending it in and seeing what it say's so we'll know once and for all... If I'm a Shih Tzu or a Lhasa Apso .... or maybe a mix of the two? :) YEAH! I Can't wait for the results!! :) Wish Me luck! Mom is sending one in on Reeses too because we want to know if she's really a Lhasa Apso/Peekengese? Mom Guessed that she's Half "Peek"... I'm not sure how she guessed that? But Mom's know everything! :)

Dog Park Conversations! :)

Yesterday my mom took me to the doggie park, and we sat by this lady who kept telling me that I reminded her of Peg from "Lady & the Tramp"! I was very happy because Peg is my favorite! :) I always thought that Peg was either a Shih Tzu or a Lhasa Apso, but I guess I'm wrong. I still love her anyway! :)

Our family has been really busy so getting online has been kind of hard! hope to talk again. :)

My Birthday!!

Happy Birthday to me!!! :) hee hee! I was born Today (January 10, 2005)!! a year ago today.... So that makes me 1 years old! I'm a big doggie now!! Even though Mom say's that I'll be considered a puppy forever!

Huumm....

Mom & Dad keep talking about me going to the vet this comming Saturday because I'm getting Microchipped.... Yikes! that sounds kind of scary! but mom says it's ok because if I ever get lost mom & dad will be able to find me and bring me back home. I'm not sure what the microchip thing is, but I don't want to be lost! I'm really worried that it's going to hurt! The vet showed mom the needle they use to put it in me, and it looks really big and scary! I hope i make it ok. Cross your fingers for me so that I'll be ok. :(

Santa??

Today Mom took me to pets mart to see Santa. The second we got there I saw this man walk by us and he was wearing all red with black boots and had a red hat on with a big white fluffy ball at the end of it! I was determined to get that ball! but he wouldn't stop walking so I pulled my mom after him, Mom say's I was running like a rabbit! and because of my coloring I actually looked like one! Anyway turns out that the person I was chasing was Santa!! and he finally turned around to say "hi" to me, But he was so big that I got scared so I growled at him very quietly and then barked only one time to say "Hi". (Mom say's that if I want to say "hi" I only need to bark one time.) Mom wanted to get our picture with him, but I wouldn't sit still. I had to get that ball! ha ha
