Birthday: January 10th 2005 Likes: I love Going "bye bye", Eating Ice, Going to Pet's Mart, Being outside, Riding in car, Playing with Mommy & Daddy (I like playing with my canine mom & dad too), paper products, Laying on the tile floor, laying by, or on my mom's feet. Pet-Peeves: Being left alone, Getting wet, Loud noises, when Mom & Dad are asleep, when my tail curls up and pokes me in the back! Favorite Toy: I have so many it's hard to pick a favorite!! Favorite Food: California Natural (wet) Favorite Walk: Anyplace where other dogs or people are, But my human Mommy has to be with me. Best Tricks: It's nothing great but I can throw my toys, and food up into the air when I'm playing with them, If mom tells me to "shake" I will. If told to "Sit Up" I'll beg. Arrival Story: My Human Mom & Dad searched the internet for Shih Tzu Breeders that lived close to their area, when they found my breeder and they talked to make sure they felt comfortable with her! After getting to know her they decided that it was time to come see me, my big brother, and my 5 little sisters! I was only 3 days old when they met me! They knew before they came over that I was the only multi-colored puppy. My Human mommy's heart was set on getting Me before she even saw me. I was the biggest puppy of all of the girls!! I was thrilled when my human Daddy wanted me also!! But they had to wait a long 9 weeks before they could pick me up and take me home! But my human Mommy say's that it was well worth the wait. Bio: My human Mommy wants to say some stuff:
We fall more in love with Skittles every second we're with her!! And We don't like being away from her!! It's been a fun experience watching her grow from being able to fit in the palm of one hand and into a big adult!! She's like a child to us. We treat Skittles how someone would treat their child so she is very "Human Like"!! We love her more than anything! we're not sure how we lived without her before!! :) Forums Motto: I'm not spoiled ... I'm a Princess!! The Groups I'm In: ~Shih Tzus and Friends United~, Mesa Dogs, Valley of the Sun Shih Tzus and Friends The Last Forum I Posted In: Who thinks that his/her Shih tzu is the cutest???!!! I wi I've Been On Dogster Since:
So looking at Skittles personality and pictures of her from 3 days old to now...almost 7 years old and looking at pictures of her canine mom & dad here's what I've come up with: I think Dad is half Tibetan Terrier and half Havanese. I think Mom is half Shih Tzu and half Lhasa Apso. And that is what ...I think.... made my little girl soooo adorably cute!! :)
A Lha Tzu is wise as a Tibetan Monk but much more willing to sit in your lap, this Lhasa Apso-Shih Tzu combo is Asian fusion at it's most adorable. The Lha Tzu will worship you and guard your lap as if you were Buddha himself.
The Lha Tzu's long fall of hair covers his eyes because he needs only his inner vision to see. For true wisdom and insight into the meaning of life, just consult your Lha Tzu.
Lha Tzu quotes:
"To lead people, walk behind them."
"The softest things in the world overcome the hardest things in the world."
