Arrival Story:
I went to the Dog Pound in Denver, the Denver Dumb Friends league, and noticed a little German Shepard just sitting there..looking depressed. I was actually looking at another dog and I saw her go past the meeting rooms to see another potential owner. It seemed like nobody liked her though because she was so relaxed and timid. She came walking past the room and I said I wanted to meet her. Lo and behold she was sweet and friendly. Very timid of course but hey she's getting better every day!

Bio:
Talia's a great dog. We go to the dogpark all the time and she's never been mean or aggressive to anyone. She thinks all humans are big ole Treat Vending machines (learned this at the Dog Park no less). When we go on hikes she gets scared of large rock signs. sigh... but she is a quick learner, getting more confident all the time, friendly with people and animals and goes to work with me everyday. She spends probably about 95% of the week with me unless I'm off with friends or playing basketball.

Dad took a new photo of me today. I think it's his favorite now.
It's a photo of a new trick I learned. I learned how to speak...well..actually
I should say I always knew how to speak and now that silly human thinks it's entertaining when he tells me to speak and then I bark at him "shut up!". Eh..what does he know. I get a treat. He thinks I speak. Win win situation for everyone

Well, check out the photo. It's the sepia colored one.. the last one of my pictures.

Today I got to go to work with Dad. He's the idiot in green in the picture above me on the left. I'm watching people walk by the area making sure pop works in peace!

Actually, I have no idea why I was at work. It was kind of boring sitting there. At least I got a treat every so often. People came by and gave me some love..which was cool. Thankfully I only got to stay there for half a day!

We're headed off to the park and I got a new bed last week. I love it. It's huge. It's brown. i like sleep.

and since I'm complaining a bit..I wish dad would stop brushing me. I shed! ALWAYS. Get it in your head dad. You can't stop me shedding..all over your car! all over our..oh..excuse me MY house...everywhere! It's my revenge.

Thoughts for the day...

Where's my treats? Why do people keep knocking on my door? I need sleep.

Went for a hike this lovely morning. Dad took me up to the McDowell Range near North Scottsdale. I love hiking because it makes me feel a part of nature (and it's better than watching dad play his freakin videogames). We saw a desert Tortoise and I really didn't know what it was. I kind of wondered how a tortoise ended up in the desert but Dad said that some of them are indigenous to this area. Very cool but then we saw a pack of coyotes walk in front of us...maybe 200 yards. Holy Smokes! I kept quiet and we watched them run into the forest of cactuses (cactui?) We hurried back to the car and came home. I can't wait to hike next time!
