Who knew I could type?!

I'm so excited!!

Mama keeps saying that I'm getting a new brother soon! She keeps getting me all excited about it and I just can't wait! Apparently the little guy isn't even born yet so I'm trying to be realistic about it but Mama is so excited that sometimes I can't help being excited too!!

Mama gave me the yummiest treat tonight. She stuffed my Kong full of pork roast, like usual, except this time she put a layer of pork roast and then a little dab of organic apple butter and then more pork roast. Let me tell you, it was delicious!! It took me a long time to get it all out of there but I don't mind...I enjoy a challenge now and then. The other day she put a slice of pear in my Kong and that was yummy too! I'm glad Mama likes to give me good treats and not nasty fatty ones...she knows how much I like fruits and veggies and I'd choose a good carrot hunk long before anything else...except pork roast maybe. =)

Well, I kinda think I need to go outside to do my business for the night and then I'm pretty sure Mama and I are going to bed. I'm going to dream about my new brother and what he'll be like. I hope he likes me!!

My 10 month birthday!

Wow! I haven't been on this thing for a long time! I'm surprised I know how to work it still! Anyway, today I turned 10 months old! Mama gave me lots of hugs and kisses and made me a new toy out of a sock which I love! I'm playing with it more than my roll-a-bear. For some reason my baby, which is a teddy bear named Milo, is missing and I'm kind of sad. Mom said she has to fix him because he has a hole in him. I hope he gets fixed soon because he is my favorite and I miss him!

I'm also super excited because Mama says I am finally getting a little brother!!! Woo hoo!!! She is saying something about a Chihuahua and I'm not really sure what that is but if it is a dog who is going to be my new brother, then I like it already! We're picking out names and getting stuff already but I don't even think this new little guy is even born yet! So we're a little excited! What can you do! I'll make sure to ask mom to put some pictures of the new guy up here as soon as we know. I hope you all enjoy the new pictures of me. One was taken just today on and the other is with my cousin Monty around Christmas time.

Growing Up Rilo

What a summer! Mom and I can't believe it is already the second week of August! I just keep growing and growing. Now I weigh 10lbs. which sounds pretty big to me but mom says I'm still little. This weekend I helped mom clean out her bedroom closet, even though she didn't really ask me to help but hey, it didn't look like she needed those papers. Mom found the pictures from when she brought me home and boy do I look different. I'm like 4 times myself as a baby! Yesterday while I was outside a little boy walked by with a puppy in his arms and mom just had to go see it. It was a baby Miniature Australian Shepard named Lily and she was so small! I looked huge next to her and mom found that kinda funny and kinda sad all at the same time. I really wanted to meet Lily but she wasn't very interested in me, she barked at me a bit, well sort of since her bark was really quite pitiful but I'll let it slide since she is a baby and all. I know I would just love to have a little brother or sister to play with and mom really wants one too but she says that her landlord (whatever that is) says no to another dog. Maybe if we move next year or if mom can strike a deal...I mean come on! Who wouldn't want another adorable puppy around? Although, come to think of it....they better not get all the attention! I'm mama's boy and no one else!

I'll have you all know that I have mastered the stairs and now go up and down them at my own accord. Mom was pretty pleased about that. She laughs when I go down them because she said I look funny but I figured out a way to do it and I'm sticking with it! I also have been giving mom hugs lately and she seems to like them very much. There is nothing better than having her hold me and getting to put my paws around her neck and give her lots of kisses and hugs.

On Wednesday I get to go with mom to see grandma & grandpa and all of my auntie Heather's kids! We get to stay with them for a long weekend and I think it will be lots of fun! I don't get too play with kids too much but I sure love to when I get the chance!

Anyway, I should get going. Mom is going to be home in 20 minutes and I can't wait to see her. I hope it cools off this evening so we can go for a walk! Right now it is 90 some degrees out but it feels like 107!!! That is hot!! I think mom is giving me a bath tonight too....ick! Ok, well talk to you soon!
