Arrival Story:
Was searching petfinder for another rottweiler after our first one--also a shelter dog--died of cancer at 6 yrs. old. Found one about 2 hours away, in a very small shelter. He was in a dark cage at the end of the room. Skinny, which made his head look too big for his body, and stinky, but with a nice long tail which had thankfully not been cropped. He was in pretty bad shape physically, but was cheerful as can be.
Bio:
He liked to chew books for the first few months we had him, and had skin and digestive problems, all of which finally went away and never returned. It took nearly 3 years for him to fully blossom into the calm, confident dog he was always meant to be. He's an absolute gem, and now, the proud and loving brother of Tommy, who is 70 lbs. his junior.
