Arrival Story:
We found Hunter aka Sir Charles on ACES (Another Chance for English Setters) website. He had been in a kill shelter in Louisiana, rescued and put in foster care. We contacted ACES, had a home visit and were approved to be his new "fur-ever home". ACES had him driven to us via the "doggy railroad" as far as New Jersey and late one cold night in March, we met him there and drove him home to Connecticut! He was nervous and scared, but has really adopted our family as his pack now and we love him! We HIGHLY recommend adopting a dog from a rescue ...especially ACES.
