I'd gone to the shelter in search of something beagle-esque. Because I'd volunteered for them in the past, the folks there let me go into the dog runs by myself. I saw a hound that I knew I couldn't take (he was too big) but I wanted to visit. When I opened the door, however, this strange little black creature came bounding to me. I decided to play with him for a bit, and discovered that his name was "Killer." I knew then that I had to take this teddy bear home with me, if only to free him from that silly name. He's been glued to me ever since.
