Here's more photos of this goofy dog. I'll have to dig around for more - he's very photogenic and is such a ham as well.

There's a photo of him sitting on his mommy's lap - he's an awful big lap dog, but oh, does he love sitting on your lap! When I'm over at Mom's, or if Peanut's over here with me at my house, he often comes up to me for a snuggle. You get him up onto your lap and he'll lay his head down over your shoulder and sigh with contentment! :) Such a happy doggy he is!

My mother tends to call my husband and I "Uncle Kraig and Aunt Jo Ann" to Peanutty, so that's what we call ourselves to him as well. Peanut goes bananas over my hubby and gets very excited when we come over. Kraig will get down on the floor with him and rough house with him, which Peanutty just loves.

I would love to have a doggy just like him, but I do have three cockatiels who are my little babies, so I don't think it would be a good mix. Peanut loves to come over to our house (we often "babysit" when my parents go out of town) and he likes to watch the birds - they, in turn, probably don't like it when he comes over because I don't let them out while he is here! Not that I think he'd hurt them intentionally, but they do look like awfully interesting toys! No - I just cannot take a chance.

Will update more when I can! Hope you have enjoyed this page! :)

I'm a great "birdy sitter"!

My sister, "Aunt Jo Ann" and "Uncle Kraig" moved recently and had to stay with us for a whole week. They brought their birdies along and set up their cage in the bedroom they slept in. Aunt Jo Ann told me that the birds might be nervous, so don't bark at them. Bark? I wouldn't bark at them! I took my job as a "birdy sitter" very seriously - for much of the day, unless Mom or Dad took me out for a walk, I would sit in the room with them and just watch them. They would sing to me and fling seeds at me once in a while. I really liked watching them and miss them now that they've gone back home.

I miss Aunt Jo Ann too - she would pick me up and plop me on her lap more than Mommy does and I really loved that. I think she's coming over today to help celebrate our nephew's birthday (groan!) and I'm hoping she'll have me up on her lap again!

Wish that rain would stop! I hate to go pee in the rain!

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!!!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving! Mommy and Daddy are having the whole family over for a big feast. Mommy has been cooking all day, making something called "stuffing" and baking pies. There's this great big blobby thing sitting out that they call a "turkey" that they're thawing out. Hard to believe it's supposed to be good to eat...

My 'Aunt Janie" drove a long, long ways to be home for the holiday. Brought my neice Courtney and her friend along too. I like them. They like to play with me. Am wondering where Simba is though. Simba belongs to Aunt Janie. Must be he stayed home with his Daddy. I guess "Uncle John" was too tired to come home for the holiday - he's been working many many hours, so decided to just stay home and relax. :(

It has been COLD! We got a lot of snow this morning - I look outside and I just could not believe it. It looked like 5 feet of snow! Mommy said it was about 4-5 inches. Well excuse me! It looks like so much more from this angle! It's COLD and I hate to pee in it!

It won't be long before I get in the car and take a loooonnnnggg ride down to our winter home in Florida. Mommy says this is the last year we'll be going - they'll be selling our home in Florida. I like Florida - and I know I will miss it, but anywhere I'm with Mommy and Daddy - I'm happy. Besides - I miss everybody too much when we go to Florida. It's just not the same talking to Aunt Jo Ann on the phone - I know she misses me too when we leave for Florida.

Anyway - I hope everybody has a great holiday! Don't eat too much! Wouldn't want to get sick would we? :)

Added New Photo

My Aunt Jo Ann added a new photo for my diary. She's holding me in her lap and I am just 'oh, so lovin' it!' :)

I had some stitches in my side - had a growth removed. Doc said it was soft tissue, but it was growing down inside of me. I had been limping some, but now I'm not. Doc doesn't think it's anything to worry about, but obviously Mommy and Daddy will be keeping an eye on it. The stitches were taken out today, and I feel much better. It doesn't itch so darned much!

Tomorrow we're all driving down to Florida to our winter home. On one hand, I'm excited to go, but on the other hand, I'm sure gonna miss my 'aunts' - especially Aunt Jo Ann and Uncle Kraig. And no, I'm not just saying that because she's typing this for me either! :-p

I'm coming back home soon!!!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!!! Later this coming week we'll be making a loooonnnnggg drive back home and I'll be able to see all my family again!!! We've had a good winter in Florida but I am so looking forward to coming home again! Mommy and Daddy sold their Florida home, so Uncle Kraig and a neighbor of his are driving down to help pick up some furniture. They're coming here to pick up some greenware for Uncle Kraig's ceramic hobby, and they'll drive on by here to help Mommy and Daddy. I just can't wait to see him again!!!! Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!!!

On our way back home, we're gonna stop by Aunt Jane and Uncle John's house in Pennsylvania. I'll get to play with Simba - I hope he remembers me and lets me play with his toys.

I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone though - I just know Aunt JoAnn is going to want a biiiiiiggggg hug and kissies from me - I just hope she has a present for me too! :)

Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh boy! Mommy's Day is Sunday! I know Daddy got a card from me for her (shhh) and my 'aunts' and cousins are coming over for the day too. Uncle Dean is making lasagna (yum!!), Aunt Barb is making dessert, and Aunt Jo Ann is bringing a salad and other goodies. Yay! The whole family will be here!!!

The weather has been just sooo beautiful - I go for walks every day and that sun feels soo good. I don't mind going out to pee anymore. :)

Make sure you guys remember to say "Happy Mommy's Day" on Sunday!!!!

I guess I was a bad doggie...

Look at my most recent photo. Aunt Jane took it of me when I went down to see her family. My niece Courtney graduated from high school, so that's why we were there. They have a Sheltie too - named Simba and I guess I was a bad doggie because I bared my teeth at him. Mommy made me sit in the corner!!! That's not fair!!! Simba was playing with a toy I wanted!!! Whah!!!! :(

Oh well... It wasn't all bad. Simba and I did get along most of the time. Got to see Aunt Jane, Uncle John, Josh, Courtney, and Tabitha too. Everyone took a lot of pictures and had a great time celebrating this thing called a 'graduation'.

Go ahead, laugh at me being bad...

What a Party!

My niece Courtney graduated recently so we held a party for her last weekend. What a great time! Lots of people, lots of food and lots of fun. Aunt Jo Ann held me a couple times - Aunt Jane took our picture. I just love it when Aunt Jo Ann puts me in her lap!

Daddy also danced with me - see photo above. That was fun, but a little embarrassing. Oh well.

We had so much fun - it was sad to see the party end, but as you dawgs all know, nothing is forever.

Happy Early Thanksgiving!

Hey everyone! Happy early Thanksgiving!!

The whole family will be here on Thursday, all four of my 'aunts' and their families will be here. My niece Kelly will be here on Friday from Columbus Mississippi (see, I can spell!) - she's in the Air Force and FINALLY got some leave. It'll be great to see her again. Too bad she won't be here on the holiday itself, but better late than never! :)

It's so nice knowing we won't have to make that long, long drive again this year. Sure it's colder outside, but I'm a Sheltie. I'm supposed to have a lot of fur that keeps me warm. We'll see how well that really does work this winter! Probably won't stop Mommy and Daddy form making me wear some coat and maybe booties too. If they take pictures of me, I'll make sure I stick my tongue out at them. They do have a photo somewhere of me in my raincoat and I look like an idiot! What if I wanna get all wet and shake myself in Mommy's living room? I'm a DOG! That's what I'm supposed to do!

Anyway - all you dawgs have a great Thanksgiving! We certainly do have so much to be thankful for! :)

Hope your Thanksgiving was great!

I had a great time! The whole family was over, including Simba! Me and Simba had a great time playing with each other. I even let him play with my toys!

Aunt Jo Ann was sitting by the stove on the porch and I just wanted to be on her lap. I begged and begged and she picked me up as I was hoping she would! I got sooo comfy - wiggled about and just about fell asleep. Aunt Jane had to take a picture and that just woke me up a bit.

My neice Kelly came home the very next day from Mississippi (she's in the Air Force) and the whole family was over again that evening. We had a great time just catching up with Kelly - we all missed her so much.

Now Aunt Jane and her family are back home - the whole house seems too quiet now. But...then again...I have the couch to myself again!
