Arrival Story:
Harvey was once an outdoor dog. He would get so lonely that he would jump his fence on regular basis and go out to make new friends. He made great friends with the dog catcher who would pick him up and call his family. Eventually, his family decided to tie him down in the middle of the backyard. Harvey got lonely and decided to jump the fence into his neighbors yard. Unfortunatly, he made it over the fence, but his chain was too short to let him reach the ground on the other side. Luck was on his side though, and the nieghbor saw him and was able to save him. He again wound up in the pound and this time they did him a favor. They set the fine so high Harvey's family wouldn't pay it. So Harvey was transferred to the Great Dane Rescue of North Texas (www.danerescue.net). When we applied for a dane, I told the matchmaker that I wanted a dog just like my husband. Harvey was a perfect fit!

Bio:
Harvey is a sweet boy who is always happy to be with his mom. He loves to go everywhere with me and he gets along with everything. He is Mr. Cool and Mr. Happy! :o)
