Where's Daddy?

I don't know where my daddy went, but he hasn't been here for awhile. Mom was really upset the other night when Lia was sick and she couldn't get ahold of him. When I was sick she wasn't so upset though. She said I would be fine, just because Lia was fine. Don't you think that is mean? What if I had it worse then Lia? I could have died!! I was so sick.

Okay so maybe I wasn't that sick, but still. What if I was? Why wasn't she calling Daddy and crying like she did with Lia?

Mommy says Daddy is away at training and that she is going to visit him this next weekend. She said we couldn't come with and so we have to go to AJ's house. Lia is all excited because AJ is her best friend. I just know I am going to be ignored. Lia is always everyone's favorite (Except for Mommy, because I am Mommy's favorite...) and Lia and AJ play together all day all ready at work.

I hope Lia doesn't "lose her mind" as Mommy says. She gets really crazy and wild and doesn't listen at all. She gets this look in her eyes and she bites me hard! Mommy says she is just overstimulated, but I think she is mean! She does it a lot more when AJ is around, so I am worried that she will bite me a lot at AJ's house. At least AJ has a brother and sister I can hang out with. Kobe and Emmie are a lot calmer then AJ is. Though I guess Kobe bit AJ last week, but I think AJ just got crazy like Lia did one too many times and Kobe was just getting him back. If I wasn't such a nice older sister I would get Lia back too!

Then Mommy would be on the phone trying to call Daddy and crying again.

Of course she doesn't do that when Lia "loses her mind" and bites me. I hurt too you know!! It just isn't fair.

Today, as usual, we went to work. My mommy wouldn't let us play with too many dogs because a lot of dogs are getting sick with The Cough. She says she doesn't think we would get sick because our 'munity is built up from going there all the time, but she said that we might still be able to carry it. I think I even heard her say that she might leave us at home next week, but I really hope she doesn't do that. We also got to go on two nature walks! I love nature walks. I wish mom would let us hang out in the woods all the time! She says she is scared that we will escape or break the fencing, so we have to only go out there when she is around. Sometimes she brings another dog on the nature walk with us, but that dog has to be on a leash, I feel sorry for them, but Lia teases them by running up and barking in their faces and running away. She says she just wants to rub in the fact that she is free and they are on a leash.

I feel bad for the dogs with The Cough. It sounds like they are trying to get something out of their throat, the two dogs that are still at work with The Cough have to stay in crates and can't play with other dogs at all, even with each other, and they are both just babies. One of the puppies mom says needs a new home, as he is a rescue, and everyone at work wants him. I don't think mom wants him, but she did say he is cute. I will have to make the others be more of a handful so she doesn't want another animal. I think she gets bored when we make life too easy on her.
