Arrival Story:
We lost our puppy Sandy in December of 2001 and Zoe needed a new sister. We found a breeder in Canada who had golden puppies and we were able to get Penny from her. Penny was originally slated as a show dog, but she had a "flaw" that made her into just a pet instead. So, a week or so before we brought her home from Canada, they switched which puppy we were getting to Penny rather than another puppy. Whatever that flaw was to make her into our pet, we are so glad! She is perfect in our eyes!
