I had been watching the website of Toby's breeder when I noticed Toby's brother had been reduced. When I emailed to secure his brother I was told that he already had a deposit put down on him. I told her maybe some other time then, as I was graduating from college and strapped for cash. She ended up giving me Toby at the same price as his brother went for, and I picked him up on a (uncharacteristically) cold Louisiana day. He slept and shivered most of the way home.

I did as little as I could this weekend, especially when it started to rain on Sunday. I did NOT want to go outside!! My ma got me some more kong stuffers, so I begged relentlessly for her to give me just a few more... but she only gave me 3 the whole weekend! I guess she doesn't want me to get fat...

The hot water heater exploded last night! I heard it first, and nobody came for almost two hours! thank goodness our neighbors were awake, they came and banged on the door and rang the bell until my dad came downstairs and found out what was happening. luckily I didn't even get wet because the water level barely reached the top of my kennel tray, but I had to be put outside from 3am to 6am while they wet vacuumed everything and cleaned up. My bedding got kinda wet in the process so it had to be washed. My life is so full of drama, but now i am recovering from a wild night on my clean, warm fleece pillow and blankey.

Today Toby got in trouble for stealing and half devouring his papa's slipper. He is always forgiven quickly though ;)
