Arrival Story:
I work for a photographer in the back of his house in a guest house. His dog Indie, who recently passed away, was there with me every day. I got used to walking Indie every morning and night, but found myself depressed when I would go home alone. So, I asked my boss if it would be okay to bring a dog to work with me if I got one, and being the great guy that he is, he said that it would be fine. At first I wanted to rescue a dog, but figured that it would be risky since my boss has to young daughters. Not wanting to risk getting a dog that might not be good around kids, I felt it necessary to know the history of the companion I chose. But... I still wanted a dog that looked like a mut... and after much research, I found out about the Cairn Terrier. One day while at the beach, I found a listing in the paper for puppy Cairns.... I rushed to Montecito (sp?) saw Russell, went home and thought about it, went back the next day and picked him up.... We've been together ever since....

People used to say that I was photogenic.... Now, any picture that Russell is in.... the little buger steals the shot!
