Leave a bone for RIP, Mini. Died March 19, 2011

Nicknames: Mini Cooper, Miniature, Velcro Dog, Mini the Moocher (she's such a hoochie coocher), Stinky McGee, Farty McPoot, Mengee-Lou, Lady Dog

 Quick Bio:
Likes: Mini loves tummy rubs and being close to her parents. She likes laying in the sun on her back. Her all time favourite things in the world are mylar balloons. She likes to jump up high into the air and swat them with her gigantic doggie mitts.

Pet-Peeves: Mini doesn't like having to compete for attention with her siblings. She's not a fan of taking a pee or poop in the rain, either. She is fairly certain that vacuum cleaners are scary alien creatures that want to eat her.

Favorite Toy: Mini loves stuffed toys. She loves to dig out the squeakers. Rawhide bones are pretty tasty, too.

Favorite Food: Mini thinks food is ok, but she doesn't care for food half as much as her chubby brother and sister do.

Favorite Walk: Anywhere! The big park is fun, too.

Arrival Story: We met Mini at an adoption day at PetSmart. She caught our attention not because of her size, but because she had bright orange shoes on her feet. All of her feet were sensitive from her ongoing battle with demodectic mange.
We didn't know she was available for adoption--we thought she belonged to someone there, and we just wanted to say hi to her and give her a pat on the head. As soon as we found out she was available, we immediately put in an application. They were very cautious about approving someone to adopt her because she had been turned back twice to the organization because of her demodex (even though they knew she had it when they adopted her!).
After about a week, they let us know that we were approved. She's been with us since! Her mange appears to have gone, and her feet are much better, too.

Bio: As mentioned above, Mini likes digging the squeakers out of toys. We came to discover this fact when we kept hearing a squeaking noise and despite looking everywhere, couldn't find the source of it. We finally figured out that it was coming from Mini's bottom! She had eaten a squeaker, and it was squeaking every time she took a step.
(Don't worry--she "got rid of it" within the next day or two.)
