fluffy beds and sunbeams, going camping with my mommies, playing "Easter Beagle" (finding hidden treats), cuddling under the covers, playing with humans, chasing cats, going for rides in the car (like to lay on back window shelf)

Pet-Peeves:
fireworks/thunderstorms and when the neighbor cat sits outside my sliding glass door to torment me

my kong filled with treats and chewing water bottles that I find in the car (especially ones full of water)

Favorite Food:

Favorite Walk:
wherever there are humans telling me how cute I am

Best Tricks:
jumping straight up 4-5'; standing on hind legs twirling like a ballerina; "little woofs" for Grandma (quiet barks); untwisting caps off of water bottles

Arrival Story:
I used to live with a 1-1/2 year old human who chased me constantly and made my life miserable so I chose my new human Mommy by sitting on her everytime she visited and looking as cute as possible until she finally brought me home. Would you believe that Mommy told me that I could't sleep on the bed when she brought me home? so, I snuggled up to her when she was sleeping and soon she got used to it ;o)

Bio:
I was born at a Xolo breeder's kennel and my 3 brothers are hairless with a puff of red hair on their heads (they taught me to lift my leg to pee). The breeder lady wanted to show me as a "coated" Xolo but I wouldn't walk on a lease just to spite her. Now, I walk on a leash with my new Mommies all the time ;o)

Wow, its been forever since I wrote in my Dogster Diary. Everything is good here. I'm getting older and greyer but can still keep up with the big dogs. Mommies dressed me up for my annual photo with Santa which gives them much joy at the expense of my dignity.

Wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Hi Everybody,

Mommies took me to see Santa at the Milford Animal Shelter this weekend. Hope you like the photo they took. I became very sad seeing my canine buddys behind bars :o( I hope that they find great homes like mine real soon.

I fell in love in Neiko while waiting in line. He used to live at the shelter but he was adopted by a great family upstate. That makes me wagging happy :o)

Wishes for a happy holiday season and thanks for all of those bones and pup pal requests.

Shilo Ann

Happy Birthday to Me!

Hi everybody,

Today is my 8th birthday and Mommy gave me turkey for breakfast (my fave). We are going for a walk around the neighborhood later with a newspaper reporter who is interviewing us about a bunch of red fox sightings in our neighborhood. We live in a suburban area so fox are unusual. One neighbor even saw the fox with a small cat in its' mouth - eek! Even though I weigh 14 lbs, Mommy is a bit worried about the fox attacking me so she keeps me on a short leash and makes lots of noise while we're walking. Mommy has nothing to worry about, I'll protect her.

Thanks for all of the bones!
Woof!
Shilo
