My Benny joined our household when we lost our Sammy, a black lab. It still hurts so much, Sammy was such a wonderful dog.
Benny joined us to fill a whole in our lives, although as you all know, never to replace, rather only to add.
Bio:
And, here is a short intro to Benny, My Therapy Working Dog.
Benny, my black lab, is about 6 years old now. Benny is a wonderful dog (even though he likes to steal my pillows). He loves going to visit our friends in the home. His tail is like a rotator as soon as we come near our first “friend”. Clearly, this is where he loves to be. Actually, this is where he belongs. He is gentle, good natured and full of love and affection. And, he is always hungry….yup, a true lab, he is always hungry. Our friends at the home love him to death, so to speak. He truly makes their day brighter and better.

I just want to share a very special moment with you. My black lab, Benny, has a habit of being a thief...he steals my stuff!!
One of his favorite things to steal, while I am very busy working from home, is my pillow.
If I do not put my pillow away, then, lo and behold, as I get up to get my second cup of coffee,
my Benny is lying, under my desk, with my pillow. Somehow, he manages to sneak my pillow under my desk, and makes himself very comfortable.
