Arrival Story:
I took him in when his former mommy couldn't give him the time he needed - she was starting her own business, and felt a new home would be better for him. After a month of waiting( and one pic to look at)he finally arrived the second weekend of november 2004 - an early x-mas present!my first sight of him was his head with those large bat/mule ears of his poking out of the truck window! it's been non-stop ever since - some issues to deal with since he is a rescue dog, and i'm guessing my hubby looks like the ass who abused him - those 2 still have their moments on occasion, but other than that I couldnt ask for a better addition to our family. major has even helped our son's speech improve!
Bio:
he was in the aspca around/ in( not sure which) island pond vermont. dont know much about his life prior to being with us, and his prev. family; i'm pretty sure he's registered somewhere cause i was told his hips are guarenteed. still looking into it.

Mom's getting pretty big as of late, and resting more than normal. Now there's tons of baby stuff around - so I guess there's going to be another baby to protect! I havent been around an baby in a few years, but their friends have been coming over w/ tiny babies, and I've been really good with them! Mom and Dad have been retraining me so I stay better and listen better - they're really proud of me!!
Mom's been talking about finding a place for me to go herd animals - but she's having a hard time finding a place. The chickens at her barn are no fun! They just make a huge racket when I put them into one of the stalls.
Thats all for now - gotta go follow mom into the kitchen and see what she's making for dinner!!

Well, things have been good over the past year since joining here. Mom brings me to the barn on occasion - the new one is cool, but i have to stay chained to Sam's stall ; something about the rules, and i chase the ducks which upsets mom a little.
Family life is a bit different - daddy is home all day now! He started working nights, so we hang out during the day with marcus. He's home more also - but the school bus does drop him off 3 mornings a week. I have a new playmate - his name is mooch - this little black and white fuzzball of a kitten that mommy took in last september( i think). He was wandering into my yard, i chased him into the neighbors yard; then mommy brought him onto the porch to live; after a while he moved intothe house. It's really fun to play with him( and pick him up by the head and toss him around..... mom doesn't like it, daddy loves it. He keeps coming back for more, plus he thinks he's a dog!) since Ollie moved away. Her origional daddy showed up for a visit, then left with her. We all miss her a lot!
Oh, mommy is retraining me to listen a bit better since she is having a baby - i heard it is gonna show up in august. So far training is pretty easy, but the begging habit i learned is soooo hard to give up!
