summer

things are not so good.
last summer i started to have bad asthma attacks until my tongue turned blue.
last february my rear wheel drive started to get weak.i couldnt go to the beach anymore.
last night was really bad. but i still want to be with my friends today.
sometimes its not easy being a dog. "old age is not for sissies"

skiing, beaching, now what?

well, we had a great time in utah skiing last winter,except for my night in jail.
and we have had a great summer at the beach. im a lucky dog 24/7.

ive heard rumors of a puppy coming. i think i like things the way they are,but as long as i get one side of the bed i think i can live with it.ive heard that children tell moms that they would rather have a puppy than another kid in the house.but dogs would maybe rather have a kid to play with.

I get called a good boy now all the time

well, i held out for a long time. for years i pretended not to know my name. and i thought "come" meant that i had a choice. but i finally gave in and i do not get that harsh voice anymore.

and i learned a new trick. i know you wont believe it , but at my age i can still learn a lot. i dont know if my slave has learned any new tricks. and he still doesnt follow all of my commands.
ok, were off hunting. i hope the snow is better than last year. i can make do, but the downhillers in my family need a good base, whatever that is.

beaches and bunnies

i have been so busy---no time to write. every day at the beach. i know where every squirrely lives, and i dont knock. plus we have bunnies galore---they are so cute i could watch them all day---and i do, because they are in the same window as the bird feeder. and i just heard the snow report!!!!!!i am ready. they say im a fun hog............................

christmas booties

well, i got 4 new booties for christmas, and i dont need em for the beach, so i guess WE're GOIN' SKIING! yahoo! i love snow, especially that utah powder.

summers gone and i had a great time

i have been sooooooo busy that i didnt have time to write in my diary(bad dog) . i went to the beach almost every day, and when i didnt i howled! but my best friend went to ohio for 2 weeks to the gordon setter national show, and HE DIDNT TAKE ME! i will be very good this year ( is it too early for a dog year resolution?) so that i can go next year. at least he didnt bring back a puppy. ( you know how human children always want a puppy instead of a brother or sister? well, we want a 10 year old playmate, not a puppy. get it? ok, off to carmel beach. bye-bye
