Toku (call name), monster

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:

May 9th 2005

chewing, running around, chewing, and more running around

sitting still, sleeping, having strangers reach out to smack me on the top of my head

Favorite Toy:
everything, including what's in mom's hands and sometimes my mom's hands

Favorite Food:
Prey Model Raw Diet, naturally cured pizzles, mom's homemade chicken jerky

Favorite Walk:

Best Tricks:
being cute, pouncing, bucking when he doesn't want to do something

Arrival Story:
Toku was sired by Summer Sun's Samurai Warrior (grandsire is CH Torii No Encore Summer Sun). My parents bred spitzes (American Eskimos) when I was a child. I've always loved spitzes but wanted a larger dog. After graduating law school, I purchased Toku on a show contract as a graduation present to myself. I've never regretted having the little spoiled monster in my life.

I am on Wellness Super5 Puppy Mix and I'm a picky eater. It's driving my mom nuts. But I'm spoiled so I do what I want. I'm currently in competition obedience training for AKC and UKC trials and will be competing in conformation.

My mommy took a picture of my at Marymoor Park in Seattle and submitted it to a calendar competition where 100% of the proceeds go to the Midwest Akita Rescue Society. I just found out that I'm going to be in the calendar! I don' tknow what month yet, but probably a summer month. When the calendars are ready, you can buy them here: http://moongazer.com/Boulder/web_store.cgi?category=Artwork& page=MARS_Items.html

next, I'll be modeling the new Prada leash line. j/k ; )

Today was my third pre-agility class. I'm the youngest little baby. I think I'm the only pup with my baby teeth still! I love the tunnels. I love to run in and then shoot out the other side and prance around. It took me a little to get used to the chute but I like the jumps (well, they're only 4" so not real 'jumps'). I don't really like the walk thingy (not the A-frame, but the other thing). I fell off it once and tumbled down about 6" and ever since, I don't like that one part I took a spill (but I'm doing better, especially if there's a lure in front of me!). I like the weave, but we're only allowed to do it twice a week b/c it's hard on our shoulders. We got to do off leash runs today and I did great! I surprisingly recalled when my mommy told me to, and I loved tearing out of the tunnels! I love the tunnels! I want to do more tunnels! Wouldn't it be great if the entire course is just a bunch of different colored tunnels!! tunnel tunnel tunnel!

Being Smart Can Be Trouble

Dad was taking a nap in the bedroom and closed the door because I'm a little monster and like to bother him when mum is gone. He lets me get away with everything so I run around wild. When he closed the door, I decided that that wasn't acceptable since I wasn't done being a little monster. So I decided to scratch and scratch at the door. But when Dad finally came to the door to stop me from scratching, he discovered I wasn't scratching at the door. I was standing on my back legs and had both my paws wrapped tightly around the door knob and was trying to turn it to open the door. I think I may be too smart for my own good and I'm only 11 weeks old! Soon, I'll be opening doors, opening the fridge, and maybe even driving the car to the store for doggy treats.
