Hi - I read your post and thought you might be good to ask this question of. I adopted a min schnauzer from a pet rescue. I also have a GS that is somewhat dominant dog. He is tolerating the 3 yr old scnaz but now that Snauzer is more established -he is growlig and lunging at the GS--this could be a fight and I want to avoid that. Please tell me what method you might use to train a schnauzer to not growl or be territorial to that extent. He is a scrappy little guy and wants to play but definitly wants to be bossy. GS aint gonna take it much longer. I am and have always trained him to "leave it" with small dogs he might view as prey and he ignores and will behave-- but when challenged he gets a mischievious look and then boom. He has put my other dogs in place --only once but it wasnt nice. I want to protect this little guy but he is acting very bossy. The schauzer weighs 13 lbs and the GS 130lbs. Hope you can help!!I see you are from the area where the mustang makeover champ lives -Chase Dodd!!!

Wow Lexi! Congrats on being Dog of the Day!!! You are a beautiful girl.

Mom just saw that post about the aggressiveness issue. She says she didn't see that before and wondered how it worked out?

Happy Holidays!
