"Crawl-on-your-belly-like-a-reptile", back-up, gimme some paw, sit, stay, lie down. I taught Mary Mitchell to work on the lunge line (I'm a horseperson), so now I walk, trot and canter in both directions. She's also jumping the horse jumps!

Arrival Story:
Mary Mitchell was dumped in our neighborhood in the summer of 2004. I had planned on finding her a good home, but quickly fell in love with her.

Bio:
I find it necessary to brag a little about Mitchell. Around the second week of July, I took in two tiny foster puppies. Mitchell has been amazing with them. She herds them around and lets them chew on her ad nauseum. When they get in a little squabble, she throws herself on the ground between them and breaks it up. When I get home in the afternoon, Mitchell doesn't go to the door to go out, she goes to the crate to see her girls! This has been really fun and I've learned so much about my Mary Mitchell. If she hadn't been spayed, she probably would have produced milk for these pups. She's going to be very sad to see them go to new homes, but it has to be. My elderly dog does not like the puppies at all!
