When I decide to give him some of his treasured wet food. Or when people come to visit. It's a toss-up. He also loves to crawl under my bed for his daily naps.
Pet-Peeves:
He hates when I leave for work. Or when I leave at all, actually. He doesn't like his paws to be touched either. Long story from when he was a puppy. He hates loud noises -- trucks, motorcycles and skateboards kind of freak him out.
Favorite Toy:
Rope toys, pig ears, tennis balls (although he's more of a chaser than a retreiver).
Favorite Food:
French fries. And cheese. But I try not to let him eat too much of either.
Favorite Walk:
He likes when we walk along Sunset Blvd. Always different people hanging out there = TONS of new smells for him to investigate.
Arrival Story:
I had dogs all my life. After my first year away at college (and my first year without dogs) I knew that I had to get one. I went to the pet store, and there he was -- sitting so regally in his little cage. My uncle told me he would help out cost-wise, and as soon as I could bring him home, I did.
Bio:
Kirby spent his early years in Gainesville, Florida. He had several doggie friends in the neighborhood, including his favorite girl, Heidi. Upon graduation, Kirby and I moved back home to Miami, where he was able to spend quality time with his doggie aunts Cookie and Diva before their passing. In 2002, Kirby and I picked up once again and moved out west. We took a nice, 10 day drive to make it out here, and he got to see great cities and places such as New Orleans, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. We now reside in Hollywood, CA, where the cooler winters and laid back atmosphere make him very happy. :o)
