Likes:
PLAYING BALL! I could play ball all day long. I am obesessed. Mommy has to spell the word or I go crazy. Chewing bones, watching tv, chasing my tail, SNUGGLING, giving kisses, playing with my brother, Calhoun and teasing my sister, Marly.

Pet-Peeves:
When someone else sits on my Mom's lap. Large balls I cannot fit in my mouth - I get so frustrated that I make high, yipping sounds.

Favorite Toy:
Tennis Ball or any other type of ball (I love soft, stuffed toys but Mommy won't give them to me since I pull out all the stuffing in less than two minutes.)

Favorite Food:
Ice cubes!!!

Favorite Walk:
Are we going for a walk??? Really, oh boy, I love to go for walks. Can we bring a B-A-L-L?

Best Tricks:
Winston has an excellent nose (better than his beagle brother and sister). If you hide a ball anywhere in the house (even on another floor) he can find it!

Arrival Story:
My other dogs are rescues but I decided that I just HAD to have a Cavalier so I adopted him from a breeder when he was 8 weeks old. His father is a Ruby from the UK and his mother is a Blenheim from Temecula, CA.

Bio:
Winston is an insatiable kisser, hence one of his nicknames - Peppy le Pew. He also loves to watch TV. When you think he isn't paying attention, he will jump up and start barking at any non-human creature on the screen. He makes monkey noises when he wants something - it's a hysterical sound coming from a dog. When he's feeling particularly affectionate, he sits on my head and smothers me.

Forums Motto:
Can I sit in your lap?

I don't know if I am excited or scared! I heard mommy say that we're moving across country. I am a California boy and don't know if I am ready for such a big change. My brother, Calhoun, is originally from Atlanta and he told me that the South is better. What does he know? My sister, Marly, doesn't really care where we are as long as she has a warm, comfy place to sleep.

I am looking forward to spending more time with Grandpa, Grandma, McClure, McClain, and my aunt & uncle. Somebody said the weather isn't as nice as it is here in Orange County but according to mom I will love having a bigger backyard. Hopefully I can get her to throw the ball for me more often now that we only need to walk out the back door to play. Maybe this move won't be so bad afterall!

Dog Show

Dear Diary,

Last Sunday my mommy took me to a dog show. It was super duper exciting!!! We saw dogs of just about every breed. There were Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Beagles, Westies, Irish Wolf Hounds, Pugs, Bull Dogs, Basenjis, Rhodesian Ridge Backs and many others. They were so beautiful and well behaved.

We met up with some friends from the Cavalier Park and watched the English Toy Spaniels and Cavaliers. My mommy fell in love with a handsome ruby English Toy Spaniel named, Voltaire. I was a little jealous when mom fawned over him but I got over it really quickly and snuggled in her lap.

I hope we get to go to another dog show again!

Another Cavalier Park Day

Dear Diary,

Yipppeeee!!! Mommy took me to the park today to play with my (local) Cavalier buddies. It was fun! Our Park Day leader taught the moms and dads some grooming techniques and I was one of the models. I was such a good boy and mommy was so proud of me. I can't wait until next month so I can see my friends again! I'm sleepy now so I'm going to take a nap.

Wuv,
Winston
