It has almost been a year since I lost my little princess. I was hoping time would ease the pain more than it has. I have so many fond memories and hundreds of wonderful pictures. If I close my eyes I can easily remember how she looks and feels. I don't want to forget. I just still miss her so much.

My beloved Ziggi passed away in her sleep in the early hours of this morning. She had some health issues that we were helping her along with and she was doing very well. We spent our last day driving around and having some fun together. At night we went to bed. She was sleeping next to me as always. We went out for a pee around 4 am. Then when I awoke at 7 am, she was gone. She had not stirred, she was laying as if she was still sleeping. She was blessed with an ending so peaceful that she did not even appear to have been aware that anything was wrong. I loved her more than words can say. She carried my heart around with her four little legs for almost 13 years. Please God let me see her again someday.
