Tails & Trails

It's that time of year again when my brother Mr. Billy asks his friends to help out a good cause. Mr. Billy, Ally, and I are former shelter dogs. We were adopted from Sheboygan County Humane Society. To pay them back for taking such good care of us, Mr. Billy participates in the annual Tails and Trails pet walk to raise funds for the shelter's spay and neuter program. The pet walk will be held October 7th.

I'm MORE handsome!

Four hours at the spa and I'm one handsome man! It wasn't bad being fussed over like I was thinking. The pretty lady took really good care of me. I got a really nice furcut. Everybody says I look younger too. Being pampered rocks.

Mommy and Daddy say I can go back in two months.

Do you think I can get more handsome?

My Daddy made me an appointment for September 3rd at 8:15 a.m. to get all fancied up. I'm going to have a bath, brush, haircut, ear cleaning, and pedicure. I've never had all this stuff done before. I don't think I'll like being all fussed over. Hope they don't make me bite them!

Girls

My brother Mr. Billy has a girl. It seems pretty serious. He barks about going to visit her and drools all over himself when he looks at her pictures. I tried to ignore all this, but... Mr. B.'s girl - Stormy B. Naughty - has an older sister Sadie who I feel a bit drawn to. I think I'm too old for this love stuff...

Hot and tired...

I'm very hot and tired today. Mommy says she thinks she'll shave off my fur. Yeah, right.. like she'll get anywhere near me with that clippers! Doesn't she remember the time she thought she'd trim my toenails? I sure showed her and Daddy... MY TEETH. They kinda got back at me by having the doctor trim my nails. They put this thing on my head... I think they called it a "party hat", but I heard that it's really called a muzzle.

Oh well, guess I'll just stay inside where it's cool.

It's hot! again

It's even hotter out than it was yesterday. I hope Ally will share her pool if we go out. Maybe I'll just spend the whole day in front of the air conditioner.

It's hot!

I have soooo much fur and it sure is hot already this Summer. I'm glad Ally lets me borrow her pool sometimes, but I really love Daddy's air conditioner!
