Recently, my biped read a study somewhere about whether or not people really tended to resemble their dogs. It turns out that people DID have some tendency to resemble their dogs, IF the dogs were pure-bred, but otherwise not. The authors of the study GUESSED that this was because people tended to select breeds that resembled the people's own self image. So, maybe the biped thinks he's tall, slender, athletic, and black. But you probably shouldn't put a lot of money on that proposition. To be fair though, he seldom runs around in circles with his tongue hanging out, either.
