Arrival Story:
I knew Ivan belonged with me the first time I saw him at the breeders. All the other puppies were running and tumbling around, chewing on my shoelaces, and just generally being crazy puppies, but Ivan was in the corner, away from the fray, chewing on a rope toy. Happy to be hanging out by himself. He was the last one born in a litter of 13 pups, and they considered him the runt, his breeders daughter bottle-fed him because he was too soft to push his way to the nipple. The first time I saw him, I knew we were meant to be together! He is the best dog ever and the greatest love of my life!

Bio:
We used to show, but Ives really hated it, he is just not competitive. We did get 3 points and a number of Winners Dog placements, but I just couldn't make him do something he hated. The last time we went was a few years ago, when we got to the showgrounds, he wouldn't get out of my truck, he just crammed himself as close to the cab as he could, he knew where we were and he did not like it! The next day, I took him to the beach, and he practically flew out of the truck in anticipation, and that was it, we quit showing and go to the beach just about every day now!
