she hates some of the rescue dogs that live here while being fostered - doesn't like having the full attention off her. Hates to go swimming even tho it's the best exercise for her knees, which brings up the next peeve - wearing her life jacket!

Favorite Toy:
none...she's waaaaaaaaay above toys!

Favorite Food:
TimBits; chicken; dried liver treats [she hasn't realized yet that that's actually for dogs!]

Favorite Walk:
from air conditioned house to air conditioned car - or in winter the other way around

Best Tricks:
imitating ParisHilton - acting stuck-up....oh wait - that's really her! Coming when I call her but making it look like it's her choice and not because I called

Arrival Story:
Prayed for her....had lost my old Yorkie just 5 days earlier and had never been without a dog before [lost all 3 of my babies that same year]. I was going to wait to get vet bills paid off and do some research into other breeds BUT the house was soooo empty. I said "please Lord, send me another dog"....within 15 minutes, my phone rang and 2 days later she was mine. THE POWER OF PRAYER EH!?!?!?

Bio:
hmmmm let's see. ... Shelby has the 'ol knee displacemnt that lots of Yorkies and small breeds get, but she's seeing an Animal Chiropractor and looks like I won't have to put her thru surgery...she also goes every 6 weeks just for an adjustment [www.animalchiro.ca]. She was once a breeding dog but luckily for her, she only had one pup and dangerous for another pregnancy, so she was sold...to me. Now she's fixed, chubby, and happy [ok..except in the CatWoman costume -but she did win 1st prize for that!]

my Canada Day had to be spent taking that Fuzzi dog/person to a vets appointment in Toronto of all things! I sat on Mommy's lap all the way in the car, Buddy on his pellow on the passenger side, and that Fuzzi was strapped in with a seatbelt in the backseat so she couldn't run around the van...that was pretty funny [I kept sticking my tongue out at her :) ]
After the vets and a visit to a friend's house, we went back to Aunt Carol's house cuz mommy and Aunt Carol wanted to go see "War of the Worlds". Then nanana..I got to go to the movie too hiding in my bag while Buddy and that Fuzzi stayed with Uncle Tunk.
The first part of the movie was very loud and scary but the second half was boring and I fell asleep AND STARTED SNORING. Mommy kept shaking me to wake me up but I jsut fell asleep again and snored. I also got to go to a restaurant for ribs before the movie...it's so nice being little!
BUT, after the movie we had to go pick up that Fuzzi again and Buddy then head home.
I love Buddy....but that Fuzzi dog - I don't know about her...she really REALLY bugs me
