Leave a bone for Zoe

Nicknames: The Zoemonster, ZM

Quick Bio:
Likes: Sassy bandanas, attention, other dogs, car rides, and Daddy.

Pet-Peeves: UPS trucks, thunder and fireworks, not getting attention, people who don't think I am a real collie because I am white.

Favorite Toy: Cher the monkey

Favorite Food: Iams chunks

Favorite Walk: Detweiller Park

Arrival Story: In October of 2002 I was wandering around Southern Illinois pregnant and suffering from heartworm and a few other types of worms. I went to a local shelter and had my puppies. After my puppies were adopted, Collie Rescue of Greater Illinois brought me to Chicago for heartworm treatment. I lived outside of Chicago with a foster dad and his two kitties for five months while I got better. My mom saw my picture on www.collierescue.org in January 2003, and she and my dad immediately applied for me. They visited me a few times in my foster home and in May of 2003 I finally got to live with them.

Bio: I like my new home a lot, and I even have two kitties of my own: Spike and Fluff Daddy. My mom and dad take me everywhere with them, and I have so much fun meeting people wherever we go. It makes my tail wag even harder when I see that I have made people smile.
Other than making people I meet happy, my mission in life is to help other dogs who are homeless like I once was. We pound and rescue dogs deserve a second chance. Please consider us when you are looking to adopt a new friend. If you choose to purchase a purebred puppy, please purchase him or her from a reputable breeder who breeds for the love of the breed and not to make a quick buck.
