One Year

I have been at The Bridge for one year today. I know my mommy and daddy miss me, but I am OK. Now that rascal Maggie must cheer you both up today.

Greetings from the Bridge

Greeting from the Bridge, it is so very ,very beautiful here. I have been playing with my sister Roxanne and my cousins from BC, Konabear, Jaxon and Barney. I went to Seva's party and it was bedazzeling. Joker, Buster, Digger, Zach, Ruby, oh so very many of my dear dear friends that went before me. I was in my daddy's arms when I started that trip across the bridge. All night before I left, I could see the bridge and my pals on the other side. I kept barking to them, but then I would feel my mommy scratching behind my ears. I wanted to stay, but I had to leave. I can breath real good now, and the water is the most beautiful I have ever seen. The treats are so much more tasty. I wuvs everydoggie. You are the bestest friends any doggie, or person, could ever have.

Hello Everydoggie

Well, it has been a while since I updated on my health. I'm still around, but not very good. I am not eating much at all. I don't want kibble at all. I'll maybe eat about 1/4 of a can of soft food, but I will still eat most people food. I turned my head away from cheese. I just don't want it and I have always loved cheese. I played with two of my fuzzy toys last week. That made mommy and daddy happy, but I haven't played with them since. I hate taking my meds, and as much as I used to love peanut butter, I'm not really thrilled about it anymore. I know that is how they get me to take my medicine. I still am getting around, but no more walkies. I just can't do it. I still can go in and out of my doggie door by myself, so that's pretty good.

Well, that's about it for now. I need a nap.

Earlier this month, we asked you to take action on HB 2525, a bill that would help put an end to some of the most inhumane and egregious practices common to your state’s puppy mills.

The bill is currently before the House Agriculture Committee and will be the subject of a hearing on Tuesday, June 24. Although it was introduced with resounding support from Governor Rendell and more than 90 legislators, word on the street is that committee members are being bombarded with emails, letters and calls from our opposition! If the bill does not pass through the committee, it will never get to the full House of Representatives for a vote! It is important now more than ever that the animals’ voice is heard.

What You Can Do
This email is being sent to you because your representative sits on the Pennsylvania House Agriculture Committee. It is imperative that you call him or her right away to urge a favorable vote on HB 2525. Let’s drown out the opposition, Pennsylvania advocates!

Doggie of the Day

I feel so very honored to be the Doggie of the Day. I have gotten so many pmails and pal requests, it will take some time, but I will get to you all.

Thank you to all for your very warm wishes and prayers. I am feeling a little better. Daddy took me to the Univ. of PA Veterinary ER the other day. I have an enlarged heart and heart disease. They put me on 4 different medications and said I should come back to see the vet in a week. One of the pills makes me pee a lot! Good thing I have a doggie door and can get out by myself.

I am breathing better and I ate some kibble and a Milky Bone yesterday. I just have to take it easy. The vet told my daddy that my heart could give out though.

I don't want to believe that at all. I believe in the POTP and the love from all my pals here on Dogster, and a few on Catster as well. Just don't let some of my doggie pals know.

I have not been feeling so good lately. I have been having trouble breathing and I haven't eaten anything in a few days. Went to the vet today and he said I have a bad heart. It doesn't want to work right anymore. Mommy and daddy are going to call a cardiologist for me on Monday to see if there is anything that can be done. If not I'll have to pack my bags for a trip to the bridge.

Valentine Tag

Well, I tagged my pal Tim for this Valentine Day game of tag. Here are the rules for this game of tag....

SNOW

Oh loverly snow, we got some yesterday afternoon. Just a couple of inches, but it was SNOW!! I played in it, I even brought out my stuffy reindeer, Comet, that my pal Willie gave me last Christmas. We played, I tossed him around. Daddy threw him to me, mommy threw him to me when she came home. BUT, then it turned all to rain. boooo..hissss...boooo.

There was still a little left in my yard, but it all has disappeared today.

Mommy doesn't want it, but I do!!!!
