Arrival Story:
I rescued Jessie one Fall day three years ago as she was wandering around lost in my neighborhood. She was very skinny and had heartworms and intestinal worms. After several trips to the vet, she became a very healthy girl. She is a sweetheart of a dog and loves to play. She also thinks she is a lapdog! About a month ago, Jessie was diagnosed with cancer in her pelvis. We are begining treatment now. She's in a for a long fight, so please send good thoughts her way! Update: Jessie lost her fight to cancer on March 3, 2007. She was a special dog and will be missed terribly.
