Leave a bone for Charlie

Nicknames: Chuck, Chas, Big Boy at Home, Charlie Warley, Big Bear, Charlie Bear, Chuckalicious, The Prince.

Quick Bio:
Likes: Food...or food. Car rides, running in the park, his Gramma, massages, talking, sleeping with his head under a chair so no one can see him, his own room!

Pet-Peeves: Not getting what he wants when he wants it, trimming his hair, his 2 sisters and 2 brothers in front of him on a walk as he must ALWAYS be first!

Favorite Toy: A loofah bath puff for tossing.

Favorite Food: Chicken, cheese, treats treats treats, fish, broccoli with cheese, ....oh please, ANYTHING!

Favorite Walk: He prefers concrete over grass as he is from NYC, and if he could, down the middle of any road.

Arrival Story: While living in NYC, I awoke one morning deciding to go to the 59th Street Humane Society to see if they had any small dogs to adopt. "Ginsing", a 1 year old Shih Tzu, had just arrived, released because he had a cyst on his eye and was "no longer perfect". They brought him out to me and he proceeded to run right over and bestow me with lavish kisses. "Where do I sign?", I said. That was the first of many cons. Ginsing became Charlie and, for 6 years, he was the "only child", joining me at work, travelling with me and generally being spoiled rotten. When we moved back to Canada, I thought he might like a sister to play with. Ya, right. Three years later, he has 2 sisters and a brother and has adapted very well....as long as EVERYONE knows that HE is the "big boy at home" and gets EVERYTHING first. Charlie changed my life and my spirit. He is my angel. An angel in a leather jacket...but an angel nonetheless.
