Arrival Story:
We found Baby hanging out behind the veterinary clinic in July of 1996. She was a stray, so we took her home and fed her hamburger patties. We put an ad in the paper, but nobody claimed her, so we kept her. She was very friendly and happy to be in such a loving home. We found out she was pregnant, and two weeks later, she had 7 beautiful puppies. Baby was a very sneaky doggy: One day, she ran out the door and down the street after a kid riding his bike. We went out searching for her for a few hours all around town. Exhausted, we headed back home, to see her laying on our porch with a wagging tail. She tricked us! :)
Bio:
Unfortunately, in May 2005, Baby started to become lethargic and lost all of her energy. She stopped eating as much as she usually did. We took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with leukemia (lymphoma). She lived one more wonderful month and passed away on June 11, 2005. We all miss her very much!
