Arrival Story:
BK was adoped from the Lost Dogs' Home when he was approximately 6 months old. We know for sure he has some heeler in him, the rest is a guess.

Bk is a macho dog and likes to pretend he is tough and doesn't need anyone. However he lets his facade slip quite often and he really is a big sook. He is generally well-behaved but if he had balls they'd be hanging down to the ground, such is his manliness. When he wears his red bandanna on walks he really begins to prance even more than usual. He is truly the Houdini of dogdom and no matter how secure the yard is he will find a way out. This is a dog that will dig bluestone blocks out of the ground to get out. He's still hyper, but not as hyper as he used to be; this is evident when my sister's dog (border collie x) comes over to play. She's like he was a few years ago, and he just can't keep up with her any longer. BK has been everywhere from universities to wine bars as a companion. His photo is up at the local butcher's. Even the local Mafia don has taken a particular shine to him and takes him for walks. Most recent story of hilarity: BK got taken to the dog park to play with his regular gang. A Lab puppy happened to be there and the play got a bit rough, so his owner took him away. Then Dad left and ended up meeting up with the Lab owner again at the other end of the park, who said to him, "oh were those dogs too rough for your dog too?" (If BK was any tougher he'd rust.) Then the owner proceeded to tell him that the "gentle" dogs (Labs, Goldens) met up at 5pm in the park after the "rough" dogs had gone home. So on Tuesday Dad took BK to the park at that time and sure enough it was Labville and BK being a black and white bastard, stuck out like a sore thumb amongst all the blonde dogs. BK got so excited that he peed on a dog's head while at the drinking bowl, and another dog's head near a tree, but the one that took the cake was when he bounded over to a toddler and peed on her head.
