It's almost summer here! Since I'm a northern girrrrllllll, it's still amaaazing to me that OK gets so hot so early.
I can't stand the heat! Luckily, I get to just lounge around indoors with the air conditioning. My mom just laughs and says "well, you do have this big double coat, you need to keep coooool."
Mom's still on that diet kick. PLEASE SEND CHOCOLATE.
I tink a baff is in the works. I don't like baffs. UH OH! Would Mom put me in the washing machine??!!
One of the catzzzz told me that. His name is Freddie II, and he likes teasing me. Sometimes he just looks at me and I won't walk past him! Mom says that he's just having fun with me and I need to just sashay on by.
Mom's getting on a fitness kick. She has some hurted places from old injuries and some awful-ritis; but she found a great new DR and she says: we're gonna BOOGIE and ROCK 'N ROLL!
I don't know what that means. Winnie says that she and Mom used to go for walks and had fun before Mom's hurted places got worse. She says that we all need to get up and GET FIT!
Har-rumph. Yeaaa, right. Winnie likes lounging around on the dog beds, upstairs and downstairs. Sure, she likes playing ball, but boy, she likes the air conditioning now too.
Mom has these DVD thingies with exercise stuff. We DO OUR BEST to help her out. Like, we come over and lick her face, or we flop down by her when she's on her mat and we cuddle up. Winnie likes to stand by her and tickle her neck or legs.
For some reason, Mom says that's not helping. WELL! If these exercise thingies are so good, won't they be better with doggie kisses and the extra work in say, doing something with a Corgi added on or a German Shepherd as part of the workout?
I fink we're helping, a lot. But I fink that Mom's so low on chocolate that she's kind of confused about this.
SEND CHOCOLATE. Mom has limited everyone;s treats. This IS NOT RIGHT OR NORMAL; WITHOUT CHOCOLATE MOM IS GETTING WEIRD!
She says she may get a bicycle. Now, I ask you, from what I've seen, where is there room for me? Or Winnie? It's a bad idea, if you asks me.
It's all because of this "laying off the treats thing."
We'd go buy her lots of chocolate so things can get back on track here, but the storezzz won't let us in; and they won't take chewed-on bonezzzz in trade.
And we'd even give up our best bonezzzz to get Mom chocolate!
Nellie
