Arrival Story:
We purchased Millie, at the age of six weeks, for a companion to our older Golden Retriever, Brandy who was a stray that we had found at six weeks of age. We had her fourteen years. Now we have Pearl to keep Millie company. Pearl is from a rescue who handles puppies only.
Bio:
On January 9,2010, Millie suddenly became ill. We took her to the ER at 9:00 PM. At 3:00 AM after many tests she was diagnosed with cancer. She had been ill for awhile but never showed her pain. On January 15, 2010 we released her to the Bridge.

On January 15,2010, we sent Millie to live with the Angels. Cancer snuck up on her fast. We had no knowledge of this monster until it was too late. Six days after we found out the pronosis we released her from her suffering. She was brave right until the end. She showed no signs of illness until the day of the diagnoses. We love and miss her very much...there is a large hole in our family.

Pearl and I were very good girls this year again, we got lots of toys and chewies. Grandma came for the day, we were perfect little ladies, we did not jump on her. Pearl dressed up as Santa and I was her reindeer.

Yep it's that time of year again and I am getting heated up already, soooooo off to the groomers I go. Cute aren't I? It is short but my coat grows fast and I really love it. Pearl is not too happy tho, now she can't pull my hair on my ruff when we play. I love my bandana too I prance all over like I am really something.....Well I am!
