Lady's going away day

Lady passed away at around 12:30 this morning. She took a turn for the worst in regards to her Cushing's Disease and was unable to stand and had started refusing to eat. My sister and I took her to Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital and, after spending some time with her, she was euthanized. I had my hand on her side and felt her heart stop. It was very peaceful. Today we are taking her body to Dignified Pets to be cremated.

Lady was the bravest little dog I ever had the pleasure of knowing. She overcame so much and always with a smile on her face. She was the glue that held our pack together.

I miss you already, Ladybug.
