Best Tricks:
Pep is a fantastic swimmer - runs and dives in after sticks/balls. Her feet are completely webbed. She also does a mean impression of a fruitbat.

Arrival Story:
Pepper (aka Celine) was brought up to DC from Rocky Mount, NC by the rescue group Friends of Rocky Mount. I happened to meet her at Battery Kemble park when she introduced herself to me by jumping into my car. She was so sweet & charming that I joked I would take her home if her owner wasn't careful. That's when I found out she was up for adoption. Since she was barely 5 months at the time, I felt I was too busy for a young, un-housebroken pup. Then a couple months later, we saw her and her fantastic foster at the park several afternoons in a row. She and Lilly interacted so well together I just couldn't ignore her any longer. I went ahead with the adoption and my suspicions (that she would be a great match for Lilly) were proved correct. I will be forever grateful to Friends of Rocky Mount and Pep's awesome & caring foster mom, Lara.
