Arrival Story:
We found Abby at the Oregon Humane Society. We went to "just look" but we found this little Border Collie that just stole our hearts. We met with her for about an hour and decided to put a hold on her so we could think about it. We've heard a lot about the breed and were a little nervous. We brought her home the next day...She is so smart she scares us...I can't wait to see what she can do next!!

Today was the best day I've had yet. Mom and Dad took me to the Dog park. I know they were worried that I wouldn't make friends or that I wouldn't come when they called...but I was great!
I met Sage (a very handsome huskey) and Annie a girl after my own heart as she loves chasing tennis balls as much as I do.
When I first went into the park I was met by a few dogs..a Jack Russel that wanted to jump on my back and a Pointer that was very freindly. I r an and ran and ran and ran somemore...and just when mom and dad thought I couldn't run anymore I did...Boy am I fast!!!!!!!!!!
Mom and dad will definately take me back to the Dog park cuz now I'm pooped. I'm going to eat my chewie and take a well deserved nap.

Mom and Dad Kinda taught me a new trick...when I need to go potty there is a bell hanging on the door to outside...that's not the new trick. The new trick is that my mom, dad or my girl will let me out EVERY time I ring the bell. I think it's quite funny, although Mom and Dad don't seem to think so.
The Genius Border Collie in me is starting to show through...so mom and dad...BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID....
Side note...the thing called CATS. Still no warming on their part. A little discurraged as they seem very interesting...
Hmmm something to contemplate while chewing on my chewie....

Guess What...Guess What?! I have kids!!!! I've been with my new mom and dad a week and who would have guessed...I guess they live with their dad part time and with us part time...I LOVE KIDS!!!. They throw the ball over and over and play frisbee...two of my favorite things.
The short little one is kinda afraid of me and I think he's running away so I try to stop him and he thinks I'm being mean..but really I just want to make friends...the taller one with long hair is GREAT...she gives me treats, and I love treats...
To think a week ago I was a pound puppy with noone to love but now I have a family that LOVES ME...
I am being the best puppy ever. I learned really fast to go potty outside and not in the house...I just don't ever want mom or dad to be disappointed in me.
Every morning mom takes me on a nice walk and then at night we all go play fetch or frisbee...I run in big circles because I am so happy..just wagging my tail and licking mom and dad..I drop the ball at dad's feet just to hear him say GOOD GIRL Abby...I try not to show off but it's hard not to because I'm so smart...
*Gotta go for my night time walk* Bark at you later!!
