Us requiring things of him, like stop barking, come back, quit growling at other dogs, things like that.
Favorite Toy:
Any squeaky toy, although the squeaker doesn't ever last long. He loves his orange plastic carrot for tug-of-war (what there is left of it). Bully Sticks.
Favorite Food:
Not big on food. Enjoys peanut butter, meat, cheese.
Favorite Walk:
Any hike. The longer the better. Does not like the beach. Go figure.
Arrival Story:
He was the first pup to come to me so I picked him. It's a good thing we became his owners as I don't think too many people could have stuck by him. He is an "extreme" Jack Russell. Those who know Jack Russells will know what I mean. He's chewed up many remotes, wood furniture, our carpet and even walls. He used to entertain himself by defying us. There is no way to be his boss but we have learned how to work "with" him and help him choose to mind. We love him to death but he has been a challenge. Now that he's 13 years old he's mellowed a bit. Don't get me wrong, he's got a sweet side too. At night he can be a cuddle bug. If he decides to be.
Bio:
Buster's had 9 lives. He's been attacked by other dogs, gotten lost in the woods, been on the losing end of a porcupine, fell out of a moving car (he had a harness on and was pulled back in unharmed) almost choked to death on a giant malt ball he stole, almost died from an allergic reaction to bees, and another time medicine, snuck out of the house into traffic a few times, overdosed on a huge chocolate bar stolen from a suitcase, had numerous surgeries to remove ingrown eyelid hairs. His life is full of adventure and consequently so is ours!
