Arrival Story: Calvin was abandoned in the woods of Yosemite in the Spring of 1995 with his two brothers. When these two kind people found them in the woods all alone they put up signs all over the place and scoured the area for their mother or any family but they were nowhere to be found. Finally they took the animals to the nearest town and posted a note on the BBS saying that three golden retriever puppies were abandoned and if people didn't rescure them then Animal Control was going to pick them up and bring them to Fresno, the nearest city. I took a look at the three dogs to see if I can help them and fell in love with the little guy in the corner who looked very sad. He's been with me ever since and I love him with all of my heart.
