I'm All Grown Up...Well, Almost =0)

Hi again! It's been a while, hasn't it? Well, to update you on my life, I'll be 9 months old in 2 days, weigh 21 whole pounds (don't tell anyone, its our secret), and am taller than my sister. I'm done with all those pointy things they stuck in me, done being cut open, and done growing teeth. I'm a pro at having to take a bath and being groomed and I love my teeth being brushed. I sound like the perfect dog right? If my parents tell you that I rip up all of my toys, chew through the sheets, or get into the cat litter, don't believe them! OK, I confess. You have to expect that at of me still...I'm just a puppy you know! Other news...my boyfriend and best friend Reeses and Charger moved away for a couple of months and I hardly got to see them becuase our parents have been really busy. BUT...last weekend they moved back to stay! YAY!!! Now I have someone to play with other than my sisters and they're right across the street. Can it get any better? Oh, yes it can...it could be snowing again! I love that stuff and would play outside all the time if I could!!! That's it for now but I will be in touch more often now. I promise! ::big wet puppy kisses::

Big News!

Hello World! I have some big news!!! This morning I learned how to jump on Mommy's and Daddy's bed! It's so easy, I don't know why I didn't try it on my own before. I would stand up on the side and scratch and Mommy would pull me up. No help needed anymore! My new kitty was up there and I wanted to join her so I took a running jump and woohooo I didn't hit the side of the bed and fall down! Now I'll be able to get anywhere they hide Snicker's food. Ha ha =0) So, back to the kitty. . . her name is Kiera and she was the neighbor's baby. She's my playmate now since Snickers isn't that into playing with me. I can chase her around the house chew on her and all she does is purr. She has swatted me a couple times but I guess I deserved it. Snickers seems to like her too because we all lay together behind the couch during the day. I am now 3 months old and I had to get a new collar and harness yesterday. I kept choking myself on walks when Snickers would get ahead of me. This means I am a big girl now. Watch out! The last thing for today is that lately, Mommy's been mentioning that I need a haircut and also something about spaying, whatever that is. Keep me in your thoughts in these next few days or weeks for when that happens. Thanks so much! Luv ya!

The Rainy Day

This morning when I woke up and mommy and daddy took me for a walk, they strapped this thing to my back. Mommy took pictures of me because she said I was so cute and wanted to share the experience with everyone. When we went outside, it was all wet and that stuff that got me all wet during my bath was falling from the sky! They told me this is called rain. Boy was this great! I had so much fun following my sister and jumping in all the puddles. We didn't spend that much time outside but when my mom was on her way home from work, daddy took us out to wait for her. I just layed in the cool grass with the water falling down on me. Afterwards, it stopped raining and I went out again and took off to see my little man, Charger. I got in trouble for not waiting to get my leash on but I just wanted him to see how georgous I am with my hair all curly. What a day!

Bath Time

I've been at my home 1 week now and my parents gave me my first bath today! I like trying to jump into the shower with my mommy or daddy so they thought this was going to be easy! Well, I thought I would be a good girl and do as I'm told. It really wasn't so bad. My daddy held me up while my mommy poured the water on me and then used a wash cloth to make these bubbles appear on my fur. When she got up to my ears, I was kind of getting annoyed but I stuck it out. They stayed with me with the bubbles sitting on me for a couple of minutes and then rinsed it all off. They told me I looked so cute with all my curls and then they wrapped a towel around me and cuddled me while I dried off. My daddy took me outside to play for a while in the sun to speed up the drying. I smell funny now but I do look adorable (not that I'm not adorable when I'm dirty). Of course being clean won't last long!

I'm Home

A man and lady came and picked me out of all my brothers and sisters this morning. I was the one on the bottom of the pile being trampled on by everyone else. I didn't jump up or make a fuss. I'm the biggest and never the one picked! They brought me to a playing area and watched me for almost 2 hours and then they left. How could they leave me? I was so good! But then...an hour later, they were back! As soon as I saw the lady, I recognized her and ran to her. She picked me up again and brought me to the counter. They were told how to feed me and then gave this green paper to the man and I went out the door in her arms. I didn't know what to think at first. We went to this big thing on wheels and I layed in the lady's lap for what seemed to be a really long time. Then we stopped. She carried me into this other building and I heard something come running at me. It was my new sister. She didn't really pay that much attention to me but I was jumping all over her anyway to play. I took a tour of the place and decided I would really like it here. I've found my home with Mommy, Daddy, and my new sister Snickers!!!
