Arrival Story:
When my real doggy mommy was pregnant, she was a stray in what happened to be the best neighborhood ever. The neighbors were speaking of abortion but my human family came to the rescue. They took in my mom Cleo, while she was pregnant and gave her a safe place to have her puppies. I was lucky enough to be one of those puppies whose lives were spared. So After my mom had 10, thats right 10 of us, my human family took care of all of us for 8 weeks. I had to say goodbye to my brothers and sisters then because the North Shore Animal League kindly took them and found home for all nine of them in 3 days!!! (we really were adorable) I was the runt of the litter and the family kept me and named me PJ. So i lived happily here for 13 years, all 13 with my "sister" Casey who was 3 when i was born. I got sick with cancer very unexpectedly and my family had to say goodbye to me in August of 2004, 6 months after they said goodbye to Casey. But i had a wonderful life with a family who loved me very very much!!!
