He is celebrating his 20th diary entry and has given tree rosettes to 10 of his pals. He is asking us to "pay it forward" and keep on giving. Today I'm one of the lucky ones to be on Diary central page. First it was my daughter Xena just a few days ago & now me Woof Woof. I'm running around telling rest of my family, what a day it's going to be. I would like to say A BIG THANK-YOU to everyone that send me wonderful gifts for my 6th birthday. I had a wonderful day with plenty of treats & loads of chicken for my dinner. Mum says I need to go on a diet now :-( thats mean more walks for me he! he!

I'm 6 years old today

Yippee it's my 6th barkday today.
Wow I have got some new toys & lots of treats.
I would like to say A Big Thank-you to Lola, Max, Jake, Austin & Doodle's for my lovely gifts & my what a lot of bones I have got. Will share a few with my wonderful family. Also Thank-you Crystal for the lovely card which you pawmailed me.

We need donations of goods for auction. All the information to effect a donation is on the site. You can even subscribe to follow progress ! The site has literally just gone up and we already have 4 donors ! How fantastic are Dogsters ?!

Baxter & MacKenzie are 100% in control of this site and monies received. They have even graciously offered to transfer proceeds directly to Meatys Drs as needed so that we can focus on Meaty.

We have so much to be thankful for ...... cancer be damned!

As for Meaty --- I am obsessing. He is experiencing his 3rd bad day in a row. He is a trooper though and is trying to play and please.
I will admit that with every thing he walks into I can hear the specialist sayin *watch his eyesight ---- it could signify that he is worsening and its starting to terrify me.. He has hit 2 things in the last 2 days ........ and he has been in this same home his entire 7 years.

I cannot let him pick up on my worry ..... easier said than done!

Not to rudely cut this short but Meaty is feeling particularily needy right now and I am off to lay some love on him {as he rakes his nails down my leg!} LOL

Dogs Lives Here

Our dogs and we live in this house.
You are welcome to come and visit us anytime but we have a few things that you must understand before you visit:

You must expect a few dog hairs to stick to your clothes. We vacuum and clean on a regular basis, but our Dogs live in this house too.

You may be licked and given a paw a few times but they love people and want to say "Hello", so if you feel that you are too good for their love then you may not feel welcome here because this is their home too.

Our dogs are well mannered and very clean but if you are one of those people who think ALL animals are dirty and smelly then you and we will probably have difficulty feeling comfortable during your visit.

If you don't like the sound of barking, then our home is not likely to be a pleasant place for you. Our dogs protect us by letting us know we have a visitor. Whether it is a friend or uninvited stranger, if you are a friend, our dogs will consider you their friend too but if you are an unwelcome guest, our dogs will protect us with their life’s as we would theirs.

Do not expect us to lock our dogs in another room during your visit. We have trained our dogs well so they will not do anything to you except maybe want a pat on the head. We will not subject them to feel as if they are being punished by locking them away for no reason. That would just be cruel.

When you walk in our home, be careful not to trip on a squeaky toy or a bone. These are our dog's little treasures and we will not take them away from them just to show you that we keep a clean house. They know where all their toys are. They may not look like much to you, but to them, they are worth more than gold.

You see, this is OUR home. We have been together for a long time. We raised them into well mannered, beautifully behaved dogs. We are proud of them.

We consider them our personal gift from God. They have done nothing but give us their endless love and devotion for many years. We love them dearly and want to make their years happy ones, as happy as they make us.

When you go home to your family, they stay here with us, fine and loving companions. They are OUR family and we wouldn't change that for the world.

When we are sick, they stayed right by our side as we do theirs, when they are not having a good day. A better friend we could not ask for. When no one else cared, our Dogs did. They have given us nothing but pure joy and we love them endlessly.

So please understand that we are not being rude, were just looking out for our best friends.
