Arrival Story:
sammy picked us. she was in a cage at a groomer's in our neighborhood. part of a litter of mutts that a breeder couldn't sell. she caught our eyes through the window and the next thing we knew we gave all the cash we had to hold her ($80.00). the groomer put a giant asterisk on her little belly with a red sharpie marker. we picked her up 2 days later.

Bio:
sam was born in Union City, New Jersey. the photo on the newspaper was taken the day we brought her home, but she has the same expression to this day.
