Arrival Story:
I noticed that there was a doberman at the Humane Society 1/2 hour away from me. I contacted the Doberman Rescue where we'd gotten our last dobe, Eli from, and asked if they would take her if the HS would release her into rescue. Rescue told me to email the HS and see if they'd let her go and they wouldn't so the Rescue told me that I should adopt her, we were waiting for them to get a dog in that we could foster. So we went and saw her on Saturday, brought Mollie and Chopper to see her on Sunday, and got her on Monday. She needs a lot of basic obedience training, which I'm sure we can work on. She's so far been a great dog and we're happy to have her.

Bio:
The guy that originally had her, bought her from a breeder for $350. He was a truck driver, and a year later, decided he didn't have the time to spend with Lexie. So his brother offered to take her. He had her for 4 days before he decided that his home and unfenced yard were too small for such an energetic and large dog. So he took her to the Humane Society, where she remained for about 2 weeks before we adopted her.
