Arrival Story:
Our dog Duke was all alone and we wanted a friend for him. Jake belonged to some people who let him out all the time in their neighborhood and didn't really want him. We decided to take him home (after talking to his owners) and he was the best dog for the 6 years we had him.

Bio:
Jake loved walks and he was so good to hug and play with. He used to get in my face all the time and always wanted to be loved or petted. Last summer (2003) he got a hemangiosarcoma (a tumor that started in his spleen) that metastasized and we had to put him to sleep. We really miss him!
