Arrival Story:
Bear was rescued from the local animal shelter but I think he felt that he rescued 'us' instead. We always told everyone that Bear was the Brains of the operation. Bear was originally Pet-of-The-Week on a local St. Louis TV station. But We never saw his television debut. I just spotted him at the Humane Society and fell in love at once! Later, when I showed pictures of My Bear and described how cute he was, my co-workers knew exactly who he was.
Bio:
Since we never knew his exact birth date, we gave him May 5th to celebrate. Since he left us, every Cino de mayo he is Greatly missed. Tragically after being diagnosed with cancer and given about 6 months to live, Bear, as usual surprised us all and stayed with us for over a year longer. Even though Bear had lost sight in both eyes, his favorite game was still chasing and catching the squeaky ball.
